In July 2011 I was notified by the State of New Mexico, Department of Cultural Affairs, Art in Public Places Program that three of my photographs had been selected by a selection committee at the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico to be purchased by the Center and placed in the lobby of their newly renovated building in Albuquerque. The contract process was completed and the pieces were installed on November 17th. The images are below, together with a photograph of the actual installation. With the completion of this installation, I have six pieces in various collections of the State of New Mexico: The Capitol Arts Foundation Collection at the State Capitol in Santa Fe, The New Mexico History Museum at the Palace of the Governors also in Santa Fe, the newly contructed Animal Shelter in Grants, New Mexico, and now the Rape Crisis Center in Albuquerque. I am truly honored that my home state has placed such confidence in my work.
